The New York State Department of Transportation announced that from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning Tuesday, Aug. 21, there will be southbound lane closures on Route 100 (Central Avenue) between I-87 and Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers, as crews continue maintenance work in the area.
Those closures are expected to last through Wednesday, Aug. 28.
Route 100 will see single and double lane closures from I-87 and Arlington Street between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. from Aug. 21 through Friday, Aug. 24. There will also be single lane closures on the roadway between Arlington Street and Tuckahoe Road between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday, Aug. 27 through Wednesday, Aug. 29.
Motorists have been advised to seek alternate routes when possible, as delays are expected during the scope of the projects.
